Thank God for the officers who knew the history of this STG44 beautiful gun it looks a little like my AR-15 that is semi-auto, unlike the STG44 that's fully auto the original are rare and extremely valuable like the original MP40 fully automatic pistol, that the Germans were a head of there time with there weapons during WW2, you can own these historic weapons as long as you get the $200 tax stamp from the feds and you got the money 💰 they cost as much as a vehicle around 30g.

lmao... it would NOT be issued to SS troops... It was however issued to a lot of panzer support units to help defend counter attacks on tank units out in the field. Funny enough its called the assualt rifle or storm rifle but was mainly used for long ranged defense.

There's actually a good side on this story. Not only the officers recognized the value of the STG and saved it, but now it's probably on the hands of a museum curator or collector that will take proper care of if instead of neglecting the rifle and let it rust away.

If my grandfather gave me any type of war trophy or a gun I'm definitely hiding it and not telling anyone I have it especially the Government!
